Eksergi : Jurnal Teknik Energi firstly was published in 2005 (p-ISSN 0216-8685) by Mechanical Engineering Department, Politeknik Negeri Semarang and frequently published three times a year (January, May and September). Since 2016, Eksergi was published online (e-ISSN 2528-6889) using Open Journal systems (OJS).
Eksergi : Jurnal Teknik Energi (DOI 10.32497/eksergi), a peer review journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, case studies, best practices and policies about energy conversion and power plant engineering (See Focus and Scope).

Eksergi: Jurnal Teknik Energi invites original research and review articles in energy engineering, renewable energy, energy systems, thermal engineering, power electronics, and energy policy. The submission deadline is 30 December 2026, and there is no Article Processing Charge (APC).
