Open Access Policy

Eksergi: Jurnal Teknik Energi provides immediate open access to all of its content upon publication, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

What open access means at Eksergi
- Readers may read, download, copy, print, search, distribute, and link to the full text of every article free of charge, without registration, subscription, or embargo.
- Authors are not charged any submission fee or article processing charge (see the Articles Processing Charge page).
- All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) (see the Copyright & License page). This is full open access without charges to authors or readers.

Access to articles
Every article has its own URL, a DOI, and a full-text PDF. Article metadata are available through OAI-PMH so that indexing services can harvest them.

Electronic archiving and digital preservation
All published articles are stored on the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which is maintained by Politeknik Negeri Semarang, with regular backups of the database and article files. Article metadata and full-text links are also harvested and kept by indexing services, including Garuda, Google Scholar, and Dimensions.
Published articles are never removed. If an article is retracted, the full text remains available and is clearly marked as retracted, as described in the Article Retraction & Withdrawal policy.
