Publication Frequency and Schedule

Eksergi: Jurnal Teknik Energi is a peer-reviewed journal in the field of energy engineering, published by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politeknik Negeri Semarang. The journal is published three (3) times a year, in January, May, and September.

Publication schedule
Number 1: January
Number 2: May
Number 3: September

Each volume corresponds to one calendar year and consists of three issues. Volume and issue numbers use Arabic numerals. Page numbering starts at page 1 in the first article of Number 1 of each volume and continues through Numbers 2 and 3 of the same volume.

Manuscript processing
Manuscripts are received and processed continuously throughout the year, without waiting for an issue deadline. Accepted articles are assigned to the next available issue, considering the order of acceptance, the geographical distribution of authors, and the thematic balance of the issue.

Early online publication
Articles that have completed copyediting, typesetting, and author proofreading may be published online before the whole issue is complete (Issue in Progress). Only final-version PDF files are published. Abstract-only publication is not practiced, and articles are never inserted into an issue that has already been closed.

Special issues
Special issues, if any, are published as part of the regular issues according to the schedule above.
