Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat model dari Rancang Bangun Turbin Angin Archimedes Dengan Dua Sudu dan mendapatkan karakteristik turbin dari uji kinerja dengan variasi kecepatan angin dan beban torsi. Untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi awal menggunakan studi pustaka dan observasi. Langkah pengujian uji kinerjanya dengan cara mencari daya kinetik, daya mekanik, luasan terluar turbin, pemberian variasi kecepatan dan beban mekanik dengan cara direm secara berkala. Dari pengujian model turbin Archimedes diperoleh TSR terbesar sebesar 1,176, daya mekanik sebesar 9,992 W dengan Coeficient of Performance (Cp) sebesar 0,10 pada kecepatan angin 7 m/s untuk nilai terbesarnya. Dari data yang didapat digunakan untuk membuat grafik karakteristik turbin angin Archimedes dengan dua sudu
