SISTEM KENDALI MESIN PENGOLAHAN LIMBAH SAMPAH PLASTIK BERBASIS IOT

Limbah botol plastik merupakan masalah lingkungan yang terus meningkat karena sulit terurai dan tingginya konsumsi kemasan sekali pakai. Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem kendali mesin pengolahan limbah plastik berbasis IoT yang memanfaatkan PLC sebagai pengendali utama serta SCADA dan HMI sebagai platform monitoring. Sistem dikembangkan untuk melakukan pencacahan plastik secara otomatis dengan pengawasan real time terhadap sensor, aktuator, dan status proses. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kendali otomatis berbasis PLC memberikan peningkatan efisiensi, akurasi, dan stabilitas proses dibandingkan metode manual. Integrasi HMI dan SCADA juga meningkatkan visibilitas sistem dan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan operasional. Prototipe trainer ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mekatronika dan otomasi industri. Penelitian selanjutnya diarahkan pada integrasi SCADA berbasis web/Android, data logging, keamanan sistem, dan pengembangan mode kendali cerdas.
