Author Guidlines

To prepare your manuscript for submission to the Orbith: Majalah Ilmiah Pengembangan Rekayasa dan Sosial, please adhere to the following author guidelines:​

1. Manuscript Submission:

  • Originality: Ensure that your submission has not been previously published or is under consideration elsewhere.​

  • File Format: Submit your manuscript in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.

  • References: Provide URLs for references where available.

  • Formatting: Use single-spacing, a 12-point font, and italics instead of underlining (except for URLs). Place all illustrations, figures, and tables within the text at appropriate points, not at the end.​

  • Blind Review: Follow the instructions in "Ensuring a Blind Review" if submitting to a peer-reviewed section.

2. Publication Ethics:

  • All manuscripts must align with the journal's focus and scope and adhere to the author guidelines.

  • Submissions should demonstrate scientific merit or novelty.​

  • Ensure that manuscripts are free from plagiarism. It's recommended to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarities.​

  • The peer review process involves at least two expert reviewers who provide comments to enhance the manuscript's quality.​

  • The final acceptance decision is made by the editors based on reviewers' feedback. ​

3.  Open Access Policy:

  • The journal provides immediate open access to its content, supporting a global exchange of knowledge. ​

4. Copyright Notice:

  • Upon acceptance, the copyright of the article is assigned to the journal, including rights to publish in various forms.​

  • The journal maintains publishing rights for the published articles. ​
