About the Journal

Journal of Applied Language and Literacy Studies (Jolali) is a scholarly publication managed by UPA Bahasa at Politeknik Negeri Semarang. Launched in 2022, Jolali provides a platform for the dissemination of original research and critical insights in the fields of applied linguistics and literacy studies. The journal publishes twice a year—in January and July—and has been available in print (p-ISSN 2961-8266) formats since 2022 through the Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Journal of Applied Language and Literacy Studies (Jolali) (DOI 10.32497/jolali) welcomes submissions that explore language and literacy across educational, social, and workplace contexts, with a focus on practical applications and pedagogical innovation. Each submission undergoes a rigorous peer-review process to ensure academic quality and relevance to the field.
