DESAIN SISTEM KENDALI DAN MONITORING TRAINER KIT MESIN PRESS BOTOL KEMASAN KALENG BEKAS

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem kendali dan monitoring pada trainer kit mesin press botol kemasan kaleng bekas berbasis Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dan Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). Sistem menggunakan sensor proximity induktif untuk mendeteksi logam, motor DC sebagai penggerak konveyor, aktuator pneumatik sebagai pendorong, serta motor linear untuk proses penekanan (pressing). Monitoring dilakukan secara real-time melalui Human Machine Interface (HMI) dan SCADA guna mengamati konsumsi daya dan waktu respon sistem. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan mekanik dan elektrik, pemrograman PLC berbasis ladder diagram, integrasi sistem monitoring, serta pengujian performa listrik dan mekanik. Hasil menunjukkan konsumsi daya berkisar antara 12,0–41,5 watt, dengan daya tertinggi saat proses penekanan. Waktu respon sistem pada mode otomatis relatif stabil pada setiap siklus kerja. Pengujian deformasi kaleng menunjukkan rasio deformasi vertikal 72%–81% dan horizontal 42%–65%. Trainer kit yang dikembangkan mampu bekerja secara stabil dan terpantau, serta efektif sebagai media pembelajaran mekatronika dan simulasi otomasi industri.
