Abstract

Abstract

Internet-of-Things (IoT) is a technology that is familiar to anyone, even ordinary people. Researchers, academics and industry are competing to develop the concept, design and implementation of this technology. In this research we implemented a prototype design for interactive IoT learning. Where the IoT application used represents a smart room. This prototype is called E-MOON, which stands for educational purposed meshed organized IoT of UMN. The sensors used include light intensity sensors, presence sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors and fire sensors. These sensors are connected and form a virtual mesh topology. Actuators and lighting devices are also installed on this module to simulate automatic doors, automatic curtains, main lights, reading lights and a general on-off controller (turning on the TV display), among other things. This device can be controlled using voice commands connected to the internet.
