Purwosari Agrotourism is a plantation tourism owned by the Semarang City Government where watering, fertilizing, monitoring soil moisture, pH levels, temperature and environmental humidity are still done manually, especially for honey melon plants which require special attention to be able to provide maximum harvest results. This causes officers to have to repeatedly go to the planting location (greenhouse 2) to maintain stable conditions in the area. The application of this technology aims to design and develop a smart farming system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) for the cultivation of honey melon plants in Purwosari Agrotourism. The research method used is the waterfall method which includes needs analysis, system design, hardware and software creation, tool testing, and system implementation. This system consists of a DHT22 sensor, YL-69 sensor, pH level sensor, automatic watering system, electrical monitoring system, and an IoT-based web page as a remote monitoring medium. Through the implementation and testing of this system, results have been shown in the form of increased efficiency in resource use, optimization of growth conditions for honey melon plants, and ease of remote monitoring. This system contributes to the development of smart and sustainable agricultural technology to increase productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector.
