PERBAIKAN NILAI IMPEDANSI PEMBUMIAN METODE DRIVEN GROUND PADA TOWER TEGANGAN TINGGI DENGAN PENAMBAHAN BATANG ELEKTRODA (BRACIHNG) DAN COCOPEAT

Sistem pembumian tower digunakan sebagai pengamanan langsung apabila terjadi gangguan-gangguan di sepanjang jalur transmisi, seperti gangguan petir. Dampak yang akan ditimbulkan dari gangguan petir adalah terganggunya penyaluran tenaga listrik. Untuk itu diperlukan sistem pembumian tower transmisi yang baik dan memenuhi persyaratan. Nilai impedansi pembumian tower transmisi Tegangan Tinggi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain dipengaruhi oleh jenis elektroda yang terpasang pada menara transmisi tersebut. Jenis elektroda. yang biasa dipakai antara lain elektroda batang (rod), elektroda plat, dan elektroda pita. Ada beberapa metode pembumian kaki tower, yaitu metode pembumian driven ground, Counterpoise, Direct Grounding dari tower itu sendiri, metode driven ground dengan menambahkan beberapa batang elektroda terhubung paralel , metode PSPT. Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai cara memperbaiki nilai impedansi sistem pembumian driven ground pada tower transmisi tegangan tinggi dengan menambahkan batang elektroda besi baja galvanis (braching) dan cocopead. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh perbaikan nilai impedansi dari 12Ω menjadi 1,57Ω hasil ini diperoleh dengan menghubunghan sisten driven Ground pada tower transmisi paralel dengan tiga Braching dan Plat tembaga yang ditanam dalan cocopaed dengan kedalaman 1m.

The tower earthing system is used as direct security in the event of disturbances along the transmission line, such as lightning disturbances. The impact that will be caused by lightning disturbances is the disruption of the distribution of electricity. For that we need a transmission tower earthing system that is good and meets the requirements. The value of the earthing impedance of the High Voltage transmission tower is influenced by several factors, among others, influenced by the type of electrode installed on the transmission tower. Electrode type. Commonly used electrodes include rods, plate electrodes, and tape electrodes. There are several methods of grounding the tower legs, namely the driven ground method, Counterpoise, Direct Grounding from the tower itself, the driven ground method by adding several electrode rods connected in parallel, the PSPT method. This study discusses how to improve the impedance value of the driven ground earthing system on a high voltage transmission tower by adding galvanized steel electrodes (braching) and cocopead. From the results of this study, it was obtained that the impedance value improved from 12Ω to 1.57Ω. This result was obtained by connecting the system driven ground to a parallel transmission tower with three Braching and copper plates embedded in cocopaed with a depth of 1m.
