Abstract

Praktik kekuasaan dengan “memberi” posisi anggota keluarga dalam struktur kekuasaan sering disebut dengan dinasti politik.   Dinasti politik adalah realitas yang tak terhindarkan dalam demokrasi .Sistem politik dinasti untuk mengakomodasi hubungan yang lebih pribadi tanpa melihat kemampuan, sehingga merusak sistem demokrasi yang ingin kita bangun. Fenomena politik kekerabatan muncul karena demokrasi tidak sehat. Sistem meritokrasi dianggap sangat cocok dengan iklim politik Indonesia. Selain meningkatkan kualitas, kapasitas dan keterampilan seorang pemimpin, sistim meritrokasi ini juga dapat
mengikis adanya sistem dinasti.
