Abstract

Kegiatan mengukur keandalan soal tes masuk pada jalur penerimaan mahasiswa baru model Seleksi
Potensi Akademik (SPA) pada   Polteknik Negeri Semarang ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui reliable atau
tidaknya soal dan valid atau tidaknya soal tes masuk tersebut bagi calon mahasiswa bidang keteknikan
maupun Tata Niaga. Untuk memenuhi hal tersebut diperlukan suatu kajian dengan mengambil data
lembar jawab dari calon mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti tes masuk. Sedang dari beberapa
matapelajaran yang di teskan diambil satu mata pelajaran matematika untuk jurusan teknik sebagai
bahan yang dikaji. Setelah data tersebut diolah dengan statistik yang menggunakan SPSS 17.00. Yang
ternyata dari 40 butir soal terdapat   9 butir soal yang tidak valit. Sedang dari 9 butir soal   yang tidak
valit terdapat 4 butir soal yang diperbaika dan yang 5 butir soal tidak dipakai lagi.
