UPAYA PENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR MAHASISWA MELALUI PENGGUNAAN SPREADSHEET EXCEL SEBAGAI SARANA BELAJAR REPRESENTASI VISUAL

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan minat belajar mahasiswa melalui penggunaan spreadsheet excel sebagai sarana belajar representasi visual pada mahasiswa Jurusan Listrik 1C tahun akademik 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Listrik 1C tahun akademik 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 24 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini, minat belajar dibatasi pada empat indikator yaitu Perasaan Senang, Ketertarikan mahasiswa, Perhatian, dan Keterlibatan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa Minat belajar mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan spreadsheet excel sebagai sarana belajar representasi visual pada mahasiswa Jurusan Listrik 1C tahun akademik 2017/2018. Pada siklus 1, indikator minat belajar yang belum tuntas adalah keterlibatan mahasiswa, pada siklus kedua semua indikator minat belajar telah mencapai target yang diharapkan (KKM 70%). Peningkatan minat belajar mahasiswa dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 yang tertingggi adalah perhatian (42%), keterlibatan mahasiswa (37%), perasaan senang (15%), dan ketertarikan (11%).
