- Since 2016, Eksergi : Jurnal Teknik Energi was published online (ISSN online 2528-6889) using open journal system (OJS)
- In 2018, Eksergi : Jurnal Teknik Energi has accredited and was categorized as Peringkat 5 (Sinta 5) based on Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia Nomor 30/E/KPT/2019 tentang Hasil Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah periode 6 tahun 2019
- In 2020, Eksergi: Jurnal Teknik Energi improved the appearance of OJS and changed the paper template.
- 2021 Vol.17 no.1 2021 there is a change in the paper template and there is an addition of 1 paper so that every time it is published there are 7 papers.
- Vol 18. No.2 2022 articles published in English and changes related to templates.
