Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Applied Accounting and Management Review (AAMAR) must comply with the journal's Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and free from plagiarism.
To ensure academic integrity, all submissions are screened using Turnitin or other reliable plagiarism detection software before entering the review process.
Each manuscript that passes the initial editorial screening is evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its originality, methodological rigor, significance, contribution to the field, clarity of presentation, and compliance with ethical standards. Constructive comments and recommendations are provided to assist authors in improving their manuscripts.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript. Editorial decisions are made solely on academic quality, scientific contribution, and adherence to the journal's publication standards.
AAMAR aims to complete the review process within 6–8 weeks. However, depending on reviewer availability and the volume of submissions, the review process may take up to 3 months.
Accepted articles are published according to the journal's publication schedule and editorial considerations, including the date of acceptance, thematic balance, and overall issue composition.
