INSTALASI DAN PENGUJIAN DRIVE TESTER LURING DISEKITAR KAMPUS TEMBALANG
Abstract
Drive test luring merupakan proses pengukuran parameter KPI (key performance indicator) jaringan seluler yang sedang beroperasi, secara luring atau offline. Pengukuran ini dilakukan secara periodik, agar kualitas jaringan seluler selalu terjaga. Drive test luring dilakukan disuatu daerah disekitar BTS atau node B. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan realisasi sistem drive test luring dan pengujian didaerah sekitar kampus Tembalang. Pengukuran KPI dilakuakn dengan mengendarai kendaraan mengelilingi kampus sesuai dengan rute yang telah ditentukan. Data hasil pengukuran akan dianalisa dan diberikan solusi untuk perbaikan. Dengan penelitian ini akan terbentuk sistem drive test luring untuk melengkapi TUK seluler. di Politeknik Negeri Semarang, dan siap melakukan uji sertifikasi kompetensi drive test bagi mahasiswa maupun teknisi dari luar. Perangkat yang diperlukan dalam sistem adalah sebuah laptop, GPS dan smart phone yang telah diprogram untuk mengukur parameter KPI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem drive tester yang dibuat bisa bekerja dengan baik. Untuk jaringan seluler Telkomsel disekitar kampus Tembaang menunjukkan bahwa layanan GSM dan 3G sudah tidak dioperasikan lagi. Yang masih ada adalah llayanan 4G LTE, yang beroperasi pada frekuensi 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz dan 2300 MHz. Kinerja jaringan 4G LTE tergolong baik, yang ditunjukkan dengan parameter SINR lebih dari 83% termasuk baik dan sangat baik dan hanya 17 % yang buruk, serta parameter RSRP 95,16% tergolong baik dan sangat baik dan hanya 4,84% yang buruk.

Offline drive test is the process of measuring KPI (key performance indicator) parameters of cellular networks that are currently operating, offline. This measurement is carried out periodically, so that the quality of the cellular network is always maintained. The offline drive test was carried out in an area around the BTS or node B. In this study, the realization of the offline drive test system and testing was carried out in the area around the Tembalang campus. KPI measurements are carried out by driving a vehicle around the campus according to a predetermined route. The measurement data will be analyzed and solutions given for improvement. With this research, an offline drive test system will be formed that can be used by student practicums and cellular technicians. Thus, the TUK drive test or mobile test will be complete at the Semarang State Polytechnic, and ready to carry out a drive test competency certification test for students and technicians from outside. The devices needed in the system are a laptop, GPS and a smart phone that have been programmed to measure KPI parameters. The results showed that the drive tester system that was made could work well. For Telkomsel's cellular network around the Tembaang campus, it shows that GSM and 3G services are no longer operated. What remains is the 4G LTE service, which operates on the 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2300 MHz frequencies. The performance of the 4G LTE network is quite good, as indicated by SINR parameters of more than 83% including good and very good and only 17% bad, and RSRP parameters of 95.16% classified as good and very good and only 4.84% bad.
