PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PRODUK UKM IKAN ASAP PROGRAM IbM DI KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract


Fish fumigation effort is one form of
economic activity in the village Bandarharjo
Northern District of Semarang-based
households. The number of entrepreneurs in
the Center Industrial Fish Smoke in
Semarang approximately 35 entrepreneurs
and have a considerable role in supporting
the economic movement of the people and
help the city government's program to reduce
unemployment, constraints faced by UKM in
improving competitiveness is the limitation of
the means of production , limitations the
company's management (finance and
marketing), yet have a fish cleaning and
hygienic production space and representative,
labor is not using safety equipment, because
they have not understood the importance of K
3 in the works. UKM Partner namely Ikan
Asap Bapak Sa'at and Ikan Asap Bapak H
Rustiono. Steps taken is to provide training
and mentoring which includes the handling of
financial management, production and
marketing as well as make the chimney of a
brick, tile floors production site, where
washing fish of cement, gutter for drainage,
signage, socialize K3 and provide equipment
production and safety equipment as a
complete work. With the training and
guidance given, then the UKM Partners may
conduct financial management, calculate the
cost of production and the selling price of
products. In addition UKM Partners can
conduct production process with better,
cleaner and healthier products.
