Manuscript Types
1. General Provisions
Jurnal Hilirisasi Technology kepada Masyarakat (SITECHMAS) is is a scientific journal that reviews and publishes articles related to Community Service and the Application of Technology for the Community.
Every submitted manuscript must be an original work, must not have been previously published as a journal article, and must not be under consideration by another journal at the same time. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their relevance to the field of study, novelty, methodological quality, scholarly contribution, and compliance with publication ethics.
2. Original Research Article
An original research article is a scholarly work that presents original research findings based on quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, descriptive, comparative, corpus analysis, discourse analysis, or other research methods relevant to language and literature studies.
At a minimum, a research article must include:
-
A title that reflects the focus of the research.
-
An abstract and keywords.
-
An introduction explaining the background, research problem, research gap, and research objectives.
-
Research methods describing the research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and analytical procedures.
-
Research findings presented systematically.
-
A discussion that interprets the findings and relates them to the scholarly literature.
-
A conclusion that addresses the research objectives and explains the contributions or implications of the findings.
-
A relevant and verifiable reference list.
Research articles must demonstrate a clear scholarly contribution and employ methods appropriate to the research problem.
3. Review Article
A review article presents a critical synthesis of developments in knowledge, theories, concepts, approaches, or research findings in fields that fall within the journal's scope.
Review articles may take the form of systematic reviews, integrative reviews, mapping reviews, or critical reviews, provided that the methods and approaches used are explained transparently.
A review article must have a clear research question or objective, a justifiable strategy for searching and selecting the literature, in-depth analysis, and a contribution to the development of scholarly knowledge.
Manuscripts that merely summarize several sources without critical synthesis and a clear academic contribution do not meet the standards for scholarly review articles.
