Analisis Perhitungan Daya Main Engine Container Ship 100 teus Jarak Pelayaran 556 Nautical mill

Abstract


Dalam menunjang performa kapal ketika beroparsi maka diperlukan suatu sistem propulsi yang tepat. Kapal memiliki karateristik dimana tahanan yang ditimbulkan akan menghasilkan gesekan yang menahan proses lajunya kapal di permukaan air laut. Perlunya perbandingan dan pembuktian adanya korelasi antara perhitungan tahanan total dengan melibatkan tahanan gesek terhadap air, udara dalam suatu perencanaan kapal terhadap perencanaan sistem propulsi dari kapal. Tujuan penelitian melakukan analisa terhadap perhitungan hambatan total, daya serta spesifikasi mesin induk kapal kontainer 100 teus  jarak pelayaran 556 nautical mill. Pendekatan perhitungan hambatan total kapal dapat disajikan dengan menggunakan metode Guldamer-Harvard. Hasil Analisa menunjukan untuk tahanan total 62,31 KN mendapatkan spesifikasi mesin model 12 cylinder diesel engine dengan 1656 Hp / 1900 rpm , percobaan sea trial pada kapal kontainer 100 Teus didapatkan kelajuan kapal 11,2 Knot untuk beban mesin 100 %.
