Abstract


PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III branch Tanjung
Emas Semarang, is a company engaging in
providing the harbour service which always
provides satisfaction to the stakeholders. So it
isimportant for the company to motivate
employees to work to achieve jobs satisfaction
so thatemployees can improve their
performance. The purpose of this research
were, first, to findout the influence
hierarchical motivation of needs on
employees jobs satisfaction, secondly,to
replicate the research that has been there , to
proving empirically whether there
areinfluence hierarchical motivation of needs
on employees jobs satisfaction ,third,to
provingempirically whether there are
influence between level of lateness on jobs
satisfaction. Theresearch sample were 60
employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia
branch Tanjung emasSemarang as
respondents. The independent variable of this
research was hierarchicalmotivation of needs
and the dependent variable was jobs
satisfaction of employees . Themethod of
analysis in this research used multiple linear
regression test, t test,and f test .Whilethe
method of collecting data were questionnaire
and literature study. The result of
theregression analysis shows that positive
coefficient, which meant that hierarchical
motivationof needs gave positive and
significant effect on jobs satisfaction based on
the result partiallyand simultaneously. And
this result can be concluded that this research
empirically has been proved and in line with
kusnul prianto research.
