Abstract
This final project review about the magnitude
of the influence of international events
promotion Darwin Ambon Yacht Race against
the level of foreign tourists visit in the town of
Ambon.
The writing of this report are presented with
statistical Analysis using quantitative methods
and statistical diskriptifinferensial to obtain
accurate results influence the costs of
promotion and promotion strategies that have
run Tourism Office of the SUcityof Darwin in
Ambon Ambon Yacht Race. Method of data
collection using the field observation
,interviews with officials of the Tourism Office
of the city of Ambon and stakeholders, as well
as reviews of Librarianship. Statistical

Descriptive in order to evaluate and explain
these forms of policy of promotion strategy
that will run the statistics and analysis of
Inferensial to know the relationship influences
the cost of promotion by the number of visits
match the title of the research, namely
analyzing the influence of Darwin-Ambon

tourists visit. The conclusions from the results
of research through observation and
interviews conducted promotional policy
isconducted by the Tourism office of the city
of Ambon not right on target due to the lack
of number of foreign participants in this
annual event, this indicates that the
promotion has been running policy needs to
be reviewed in order to enhance the appeal of
animo Darwin Ambon Yacht Race, including
also in this case is the cost of the promotions

significant in terms of channeling information
to improve the number of participants in this
international event. As for the second affects
