Perlindungan Anak terhadap Kejahatan Kekerasan Seksual (Pedofilia)

Abstract

Children are a gift at the same mandate God Almighty, that we should always keep in him because of the inherent dignity, dignity, and rights as human beings that must be upheld. Pedophilia is a form of child abuse in which an adult or older adolescent uses a child as a sexual stimulation. Pedophilia is classified as kejahtan against children because of resulting adverse effects for victims. Pedophilia should be addressed by the criminal law. Criminal law is often used to solve social problems such as crime prevention, especially in pedophilia. Law No. 39 Year 1999 on Human Rights article stipulates that right of children to protection from exploitation and sexual abuse, kidnapping, child trafficking, as well as from various form of abuse of narcotics, psychrotopic drugs, and other addictive substances. Law No.23 of 2002 Article 88 stipulates that the penal provisions for any person who sexually exploit children or the economy for the purpose of enriching himself or another person, shall be punished will imprisonment of 10 years and/or a maximum fine of Rp200,000,000.00 (two hundred million rupiah).
