Female traders at pasar Johar, Semarang, mostly come from the rural areas, the existence of female traders in the city of Semarang in particular, is mainly caused by the penetration of capital which takes place in the rural areas, and which is structurally profitable only to the capitalists there, who generally have certain acces such as land, tractor, and huller. The practice of circular Migration or “beboro” in the city has developed increasingly, because rural Java is no longer able to continue the involution process, and besides, it is also because of several other factors like economy, communication, and the city attractions. The targets of the study are women traders selling vegetable, fruits, various kinds of food and drink, ready-made clothes, and various household articles. Out of each commodity 50 respondents are selected out as samples, which totaled to 250 respondets. The study also shows that the socio economic rate in the house households thus has considerable association with the mobility rate of the circular migration in the city, which show that certain types of commodities, if grouped together, has association with the proportion of the circular migrants. This fact is mainly found in the trading of certain types of commodities performed by houseold members who are trading on various foods and drink and ready-made clothes. Judging from their trade pattern, which is both “universal” and “particularistic” performed by the two types of female traders there is a performed by the two types of female traders, there is a tendency that a sequence of circular migration would take place, whereas the number of mobility performers would continually increase from time to time.
