Abstract
The impression we leave on the people around us is something many of us spend a good deal of time managing. This seems especially true as people connect more frequently and in more ways than ever as new technologies emerge. The different mediums pose different difficulties and affordances in how to manage our impressions. Here, I aim to analyze people’s impression formation and management strategies in recent interactions via the mediums of Facebook.
