Abstract


Community Service "Increasing Competency in Processing Pindang Fish Products to Empower PKK Women in RT.04/RW.02 Banyumanik Subdistrict,
Semarang" is an activity carried out in an effort to empower women to participate in improving community welfare by increasing family welfare by improving product processing skills pindang fish. Apart from being used for personal consumption to increase the family's healthy food intake, pindang fish products can also be an additional business opportunity that can be introduced and socialized so that it is hoped that it will also be able to provide added economic value to the family and the community itself. This processed pindang fish product is an added economic value for improving family welfare. For this reason, community service activities are needed by carrying out counseling, training, practice and mentoring. The output target of this activity is to increase community competence in making pindang fish products, popularize the manufacture of pindang fish products to empower women to be financially independent, provide added economic value through processing pindang fish products as a potential additional business opportunity. The results of the community service activities that have been carried out are the realization of counseling, training and practice in making pindang fish products in RT.04/RW.02, Banyumanik District, Semarang, the realization of increasing the competence of residents in making pindang fish products to empower women to be financially independent.
