PEMBERDAYAAN POTENSI INSAN DIFABEL GUNA PENINGKATAN KEMANDIRIAN FINANSIAL MELALUI PENDAMPINGAN PRODUKSI KAIN LUKIS DAN PENGELOLAAN USAHA

Abstract

Persons with disabilities are often marginalized in society. As part of the community, people with disabilities can and want to become productive, independent, and valuable members for the national development vision. Cooperation and support from various parties are needed for national development to be achieved. The Sahabat Difabel Community and Roemah Difabel are groups that provide a platform for persons with disabilities to inspire each other, find solutions, and share knowledge and skills so that they can participate in development. To realize this, Semarang State Polytechnic collaborates with Roemah Difabel Semarang (RDS) located at Jl. Puspowarno II. No. 2 Semarang will conduct empowerment activities by providing training in fabric painting and business management. It is hoped that through this activity, persons with disabilities can achieve personal and financial independence.
