RANCANG BANGUN PENYESUAI IMPEDANSI TRAFO ¼λ MICROSTRIP
Abstract
The cable type impedance-adjusting transformer has large dimensions and uses connectors so that it will cause a lot of interference caused by capacitive, inductive and resistive reactance which will cause interference in the form of noise, unmatching and attenuation which causes signal attenuation. To anticipate these problems, the transformer is used using microstrip technology which has more selective, fast and has characters that improve the electrical, mechanical and chemical properties of each other so that it has a very high molecular density so that leakage and attenuation are very small, fabrication is relatively easy, and lower manufacturing costs.
The purpose of this research is to design and build an Impedance Adjuster Transformer with Microstrip technology using a precise and heavy-duty substrate material, meaning that the antenna is capable of operating at microwave frequencies and in areas with extreme weather conditions. The basic principle of this antenna is resonance so that it can be developed for various applications according to the resonant frequency of the antenna. In this study, an array of microstrip antennas will be designed using Kevlar-alumina-epoxy composite as a substrate which is the development of the microstrip antenna from previous research.
