REKAYASA MESIN PENEKAN LENSA SEMI AUTOMATIC DENGAN PENGGERAK PNEUMATIK KONTROL ARDUINO PADA PROSES ASSEMBLY HEAD LAMP TIPE 045
Abstract
PT Indonesia Stanley Electric (ISE) is a manufacturing company that manufactures lamps for the application of two-wheeled vehicles and four wheels. Lights are one of the most important components of transportation that serve as lighting. One of the lamp products in PT. Indonesia Stanley Electric is HL 045. The background of this research is the process of lens suppressant on the line lamp assy Product HL 045 is still done manually by using both hands operator on the lens suppressor process. This leads to frequent bottlenecks that have an impact on the achievement of target production of HL 045 products, namely 540 part/day, but the actuation can only produce 493 parts/day. The purpose of this research is to increase the productivity of the 045 head lamp with innovations in the form of a semi-automatic lens pressing machine to perform push force or press on upper jig. The research methods used are RCA (root cause analyze) with stages: identification of problems, define problems, understand the problem, corrective action, and monitoring system. The lens suppressor test is conducted using 3 pressure parameters of 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 MPa each as much as 30 attempts to obtain data in the form of lens suppression time. Based on the results of the testing designed semi-automatic lens suppressor machine obtained the best test data is testing at a pressure of 0.5 Mpa and resulted in the average time of lens suppression process of 3.63 sec. Based on the results of the test data, it can be concluded that the application of the design of a semi automatic lens suppressor proved to be able to increase production capacity by 8.72% (originally 493 PCs/day to 536 PCs/day) and lowered the process time of the product assembly in the HL 045 7.98% (originally 109.33 seconds to 100.6 seconds).
