Abstract


Communication audit is an analysis in evaluating an organization's internal communication systems which aims for increasing organizational effectiveness. However, different cultural variability has been resulting in the different organizational communication behavior. The influence from collectivism culture to the organization brings the good effect in increasing organizational performance as well as organizational effectiveness. Therefore, since the communication audit concept is a masterpiece of western scientist, an adjustment is needed in an organizational culture variable by adding the collectivism cultural influence factor. Thus, the organizational communication systems can be better measured, and communication barriers could be carefully detected. That would help organizations achieve the goal to be effective organization.
