Perlindungan terhadap Pembantu Rumah Tangga (PRT) Menurut Permenaker No. 2 Tahun 2015
Abstract
The existence of domestic workers has yet to be recognized by all parties as the same labor with labor such as factory workers, companies and others. Because domestic workers are considered as unemployed "entrepreneur", they do not get the protection provided laws against other workers. In addition, access to the labor dispute resolution mechanisms, such as industrial tribunals established by Law No. 22 of 2004 on Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement. One of the concrete form of the presence of the state to protect workers as a whole including domestic workers in this sector is the issuance of Ministerial Regulation No.2 of 2015 on the Protection of Domestic Workers.
