Through the questionnaire respondents were asked to rate the stimulus based on compliance with the conditions of his or her potential. The grading scale used was the scale of the continuum of assessment in which respondents assessed their potential (self report) based on the stimulus given to provide figures on the continuum scale of 1 to 10, where the number 1 indicates the potential of a very weak and figure 10 shows a very strong potential. To judge the importance of each attribute/indicator used soft skills continuum rating scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means the number is not very important and the number 10 means very important. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling using purposive random sampling. To answer the research objectives on the potential of soft skills possessed by students POLINES used descriptive analysis. In order to find a model of the development of appropriate soft skills the performance-importance analysis was used.
