Human resources (man) as the main construction resource must be professional, competent and certified. Certificates for construction workers are clearly stated in Government Regulation Number 14 of 2021 concerning construction services. The Government Regulation requires workers in the construction sector to have a work competency certificate and construction service actors to employ construction workers who have a work competency certificate. Construction service actors are expected to have a work competency certificate (SKK) in accordance with job qualifications and education levels. The phenomenon is that some SKK ownership is not in accordance with the level requirements stipulated in the Perpres No. 8/2012 regulation. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of education for the 4-5 level work competency certification process in Semarang City. The research method used is qualitative with data collection of test results from TUK. The data analysis method used is coding analysis. The results of competency tests at levels 4-5 show that more than 50% of competency test participants have the latest education that is not in accordance with the requirements of Perpres No. 8/2012.References
