PENGEMBANGAN MODEL MAGANG KERJA INDUSTRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI DOSEN

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengkaji kompetensi yang harus dimiliki sebelum magang dilaksanakan dan (2) merumuskan model pemagangan yang relevan bagi dosen dan menguntungkan bagi perguruan tinggi dan industry. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan focus group discussion dengan sampel sebanyak 10 industri.  Sedangkan analisis datanya adalah deskriptif kualitatif . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  (1) Sebelum melakukan magang dosen perlu diuji dulu untuk mengetahui kesenjangan kompetensi yang dimiliki,  training khususnya untuk mengatasi kesenjangan kompetensi yang dimiliki selanjutnya perlu orientasi ke industri dan (2) Akhir dari magang perlu dilakukan sertifikasi kompoetensi untuk mengetahui keberhasilan magangnya.
