The Sukarela Bridge located on Muktiharjo Dalam Street in Muktiharjo Kidul, Pedurungan District, Semarang
City, serves as a vital transportation link for local residents and economic activities. However, the existing bridge
has a limited width that can no longer accommodate the growing traffic volume, resulting in congestion and
reduced safety for road users. This community service project aims to develop an improved structural and
geometric design for the bridge to enhance traffic capacity, safety, and overall functionality. The methodology
includes field surveys, collection of geometric and structural data, analysis of traffic demand, structural analysis
based on SNI 1725:2016 and SNI 2847:2019 standards, and the creation of 2D and 3D design models using
AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion. The findings indicate that widening the bridge to 5.7 meters, strengthening the
deck using reinforced concrete T-beams, and employing minipile foundations significantly improve its structural
capacity and service performance. The final output includes a complete set of detailed engineering drawings and
a cost estimation of IDR 719,000,000. This study demonstrates that community-based participatory design,
supported by engineering analysis, can effectively produce feasible infrastructure solutions for local
transportation challenges
