Abstract

Al-Ma'ruf Mosque, Dukuh Ngenderan, Kelurahan Plumbon, Sambung Macan Subdistrict, Sragen Regency is a village mosque that is developing both physically and non-physically (prosperity activities). Along with the social and cultural progress of the people in their environment (the congregation), organizational management (idara) and various prosperity activities (imarah) are needed, including in the fields of ritual worship, education (science), da'wah, as well as economic welfare, Islamic culture and so on. The management of the mosque's iarah and imarah will run well if it is carried out by an administrator who has good mosque management competence. One of the serious problems faced by this partner institution is the low competence of the leadership (management) and prosperity (imarah) of the existing mosques so that they tend to be static and routine and conservative. To this problem, a solution is needed in the form of training and mentoring in mosque management, as well as the provision of vital facilities to support all activities, namely the sound system. The implementation of this Community Service activity uses training and mentoring methods. The training materials provided were the role and function of mosques in the modern era, the urgency of mosque management, management functions, and steps to prosper the mosque. With training and mentoring for partners, mosque administrators (takmir) have become more active and more creative. With the activeness and creativity of the mosque management, mosque activities are getting better, both activities for children, youth and parents. Through training and mentoring, the mosque becomes prosperous with various activities.
