DESAIN PROTOTIPE SMART INCUBATOR BERBASIS INTERNET OF THING

Abstract


Indonesia is ranked fifth as a country that has the highest number of premature babies in the world. As many as 15 million babies are born prematurely every year in the world, it is reported from this number, as many as 1.1 million babies die from various complications. Premature conditions occur because babies born under the age of less than 37 weeks, with a weight below 1,500 grams.

Various problems can be caused by premature birth. Premature babies have a higher risk of death than babies born at term. Many factors influence the increase in premature infant mortality. One of them is the lack or difficulty of monitoring the condition of the premature baby's body after birth. In this study, a baby smart incubator system was created which was implemented for baby monitoring, which included temperature, baby's weight, baby's heart rate. This system is made using a mobile application using android programming based on the Internet of Things (IoT). So that it can be accessed by the baby's mother and medical officers to carry out supervision.
