PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI ALAT DOWEL SHAFT ANAK PANAH PADA KOMUNITAS PANAHAN HORSEBOW TOPS (TLATAH OLAH PANAH SUNNAH)

Abstract

Archery is a sport that is done by directing arrows using a bow in the direction of shooting according to the intended target with a certain distance. Arrows that are easily available are those made of wood, but these arrows are not durable because they can be attacked/eaten by termites if stored in a humid place. This type of wooden arrow is usually used for traditional and national numbers. Prices for wooden arrows made of bamboo range from Rp. 300,000., - Rp. 500,000. The expenditure on buying arrows for archery athletes is very high. The community service team in this community made a major contribution to solving problems experienced by the community, especially related to the process of providing and making children with dowel shafts. The service team activities carried out were by providing an understanding of technology and training in the use of tools that had been made during service. This tool will later be donated to the Horesbow TOPS Archery Community. The archery community can make their own arrows from good bamboo and are suitable for use in competitions.
