MEMBANGUN SISTEM INFROMASI TES SECARA ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN PHP DAN MYSQL UNTUK MENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN BAHASA INGGRIS MAHASISWA POLITEKNIK NEGERI SEMARANG

Abstract

This study aims to contribute in the form of designing an online test system as an alternative to measure the English language skills of Polines students in the new normal era so that the implementation of the test is not limited to space and time. This study uses R&D research. In the research stage, research is conducted on the types of questions and the system that will be used to build an online test system. The type of questions refers to the TOEIC and TOEFL question models and the system design uses PHP and MySQL. The result of this research is that some basic features can be solved in this research, such as Login System, User Management, File Manager, Multimedia Problem. For the Quiz application that is made, it can be used to test English with the Multiple Choice question type and supports the English Reading, Listening, Grammar question model. The TOEFL and TOEIC Test types cannot be fully implemented in the application. Testing using a lot of users has not been done in the application so the application is now in the prototype stage
