PENDAMPINGAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM KONTROL KONDISI AIR TAMBAK UDANG BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS

Abstract


The main problem for Vaname shrimp farmers in Mangkang Kulon, Tugu District, Semarang, is monitoring pH, salinity and turbidity in real time. In monitoring the farmers still use a very traditional method, namely by licking the water on the shrimp pond so that it has less than optimal results. Water conditions are very influential in the cultivation of Vaname shrimp. If there is a sudden change in water conditions it can cause shrimp to die and experience crop failure.This community service aims to build and develop a tool with the aim of measuring the level of pH, salinity and turbidity of water automatically. With this system, shrimp farmers take measurements and get the maximum value and can control the water automatically if the water condition is not in accordance with predetermined standards.The method used in this activity includes operational training on the use of a water condition control system in Vaname shrimp ponds based on the internet of things which consists of four activities, namely planning, analysis, engineering and evaluation. The outputs of this service are (1) scientific publications and (2) systems.
