Abstract


The teaching and learning process at Sekolah Dasar (SD) Muhammadiyah 08 Semarang uses thematic learning model.  Thematic learning is an integrated learning that emphasizes students involvement. This model involves several basic competencies, learning outcomes and indicators of a single subject or even several subjects.With thematic learning model, students are expected to be able to learn and play with high creativities. In thematic learning model, learning does not merely encourage students to know (learning to know), but also to learn to do (learning to do), to be (learning to be), and to live together (learning to live together).In this model the assessment is carried out for each theme which can consist of several topics. Thematic assessments that emphasize the domain of attitudes (affective) and skills  are carried out every day. These activities produce a large number of assessment documents and they must be managed properly.  If these documents are managed properly,they can be found quickly when they are needed.  The objective of this Community Service  program at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Semarang is to open up the mind of teachers and administrative staffs to improve the quality of document handling.It is expected to be able to improve the teaching and learning process, reporting to parents and other stakeholders.
