PERANCANGAN LISTENING TOOL UNTUK BAHASA INGGRIS 1 SEBAGAI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KULIAH DARING MATA KULIAH BAHASA INGGRIS DI JURUSAN AKUNTANSI POLITEKNIK NEGERI SEMARANG

Abstract


Listening is the one first and most skill of the four to be mastered by a language learner. At this time of pandemic situation setting of listening learning cannot be carried out normally at the classroom setting, but it is changed into virtual setting. In the former situation, lecturers and students are in the same room with audio player and sound system to play files and listen to them while opening module, therefore the role of the lecturer is very dominant. The same thing happens at laboratory setting, only with more sophisticated and networked equipment and material. Now, in an online setting, those things are no longer relevant. The role of LMS (learning management system) changes all settings tied to the sound-module-lab-room into a multimedia file that flows on the internet network and reaches students via computers or gadgets to private rooms or homes or places where they can capture information through signal' cellular network or hotspot. This research is focused on designing a model (listening tool) to be applied to online setting  fit in the LMS platform. The result has been applied and acquired positive responses from the students, so this can be the model to be developed continuously.
