KAJIAN PERBANDINGAN PENANGANAN LONGSORAN LERENG (STUDI KASUS: GOMBEL LAMA, SEMARANG)

Abstract


Gombel area is a hilly area located in the city of Semarang, which is included in the zone of high ground movement vulnerability, therefore, lateral deformation often occurs which causes the pavement to crack, inconvenience and endanger road users. Based on these problems, solutions in mitigating the potential hazards of slope failure are necessary. In this study, landslide approach uses several alternatives including strengthening retaining walls, bore pile foundations and steel sheet piles. Analysis for existing conditions (in-situ) was required, with manual analysis using the Fellenius method, while slope stability analysis with reinforcement was used finite element method approach. The results of the slope stability analysis on the existing slope conditions obtained a safety factor (SF) of 1.104 for manual analysis and 1.161 using the finite element method. The two estimation methods show that the slope is unsafe because SF < 1.5. Therefore, slope reinforcement is required. The results of the analysis for slope stability with retaining walls was obtained the SF value of 1.34 with a maximum deformation of 0.26m. The Bore Pile reinforcement is 2.16 with a maximum deformation of 0.3m. Meanwhile, for Sheet Pile reinforcement, was obtained SF = 2.14 with a maximum deformation of 0.6m. Accordingly,bore pile treatment for slope reinforcement is the optimal alternative based on the safety factor and deformation value.
